Our Healthy Schools Committee would like to offer the You’re the Chef program to students and we are looking for parents who are interested in becoming trained volunteers. You’re the Chef is a hands-on cooking program that develops the skills and confidence for Grade 5, 6, 7 & 8 students to prepare healthy and tasty recipes emphasizing vegetables and fruit. Students are invited to wear red, green and white or an Italian jersey for a toonie on Friday, October 7th in support of the victims of the Earthquake in Italy. All money collected will be added to the collection made by the Archdiocese of Toronto. Thank you for your generosity.
Our students are pumped to watch our Toronto Blue Jays team play the Wild Card game on Tuesday night so to help show our support, we are going to wear our Blue Jays jerseys and hats on Tuesday, October 4th. Go Jays Go!
