On Monday, November 11th, Our Lady of the Annunciation will be honoring all the young people, men and women, who gave their lives in the wars and peacemaking missions of the past and present. On this day we pray for a world where the weak are protected and none go hungry or poor, a world where the riches of creation are shared and everyone can enjoy them, a world where different races and cultures live in harmony and respect, a world where peace is built with justice and justice is guided by love. To aid us in our journey of faith, and in light of tragic events that occur throughout the world, we will be coming together as a community of faith by forming a peace chain. The prayer service, readings and songs will be prepared and led by the grade 5/6 and grade 6 classes. Parents and Guardians are welcome to join us at 10:45am.
