The youngest child in each family brought home an important letter regarding our Annual Fundraiser. In lieu of asking families to sell chocolate or collect donations from friends and family, we are asking each family to make a suggested financial donation of $50. This fall, OLA will be participating in the York South St. Vincent de Paul Winter Coat Drive. There are families in York Region who struggle throughout the year to make ends meet, and find it especially difficult during the winter months to buy the necessary items to clothe their children appropriately. Thank you to the following parents and staff who have stepped up to form the Catholic School Council:
Congratulations to all of the Grade 4-8 students who have joined the OLA All Stars Cross Country Team! All students are encouraged to try their best. Being on a team requires responsibility, commitment and a positive attitude.
Students will train four times a week at the following times:
Monday and Wednesday at 12:00pm with lunch to follow
