Grade 3 students are scientists and they are learning all about the Growth and Changes in Plants. Students observed and investigated a wide variety of local plants, from trees and mosses in their natural environment to flowers and vegetables and they considered the impact of human activity on plants and their habitats. Students also learned about the importance of plants as sources of oxygen, food, and shelter, and the need for humans to protect plants and their habitats. Their interest and curiosity grows with hands on science experiments and activities.
