The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at OLA. It will be open for scheduled class visits on Nov. 11, 12, 13, and 14 during the school day. Students accompanied by parents (or just parents) are welcome from 8:45-9:00 and from 3:30-3:45 on Nov. 11, 12, 13, and 14. On Thursday November 14, the Book Fair will be open to students and parents from 4:00-9:00 pm while parent-teacher interviews are taking place.
Students from JK-grade 5 will be making “wish lists” during their first class visit. Parents may then send in money with their child or come into the book fair with their child’s wish list to purchase those items. Please note that many popular items sell out quickly. Students may re-order an item and it will be delivered to their class the following week. All re-order items must be paid for in advance.
Remember to have your child enter his / her name into the door prize draw which will occur on Thurs. Nov. 14 at 1:00 pm. The prize is $25 worth of free books for the child and $25 worth of free books for their classroom. Students will find a ballot on their book fair flyer which they will receive on their first class visit.
