The youngest child in each family brought home an important letter regarding our Annual Fundraiser. In lieu of asking families to sell chocolate or collect donations from friends and family, we are asking each family to make a suggested financial donation of $50. This is our ONE major school-wide fundraiser and is a “Tax Deductible Donation” fundraiser. The major benefits of this type of fundraiser are:
-
Tax receipts are available for individual donations of $25 or more; cheques must be made out to York Catholic District School Board
-
It’s the only major fundraising campaign for this year
-
100% of the proceeds stay in the school
-
It’s hassle-free and simple! Each family just writes a cheque. Students will not canvass family, friends or neighbours for donations.
Our goal is to raise $9,000.
If each family donates $50.00, we will reach our goal.
For every donation, a ballot will be issued per family to be entered into our prize draws. In addition, for each increment of $50 or more, the family will receive additional ballots. Prizes will include:
-
Grand Prize – FOUR (4) PLATINUM seats to the Toronto Maple Leafs vs the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday, December 23 (valued at $400.00/seat and that’s a prize of over $1,600) *Thank you to the Cerullo Family for the donation!
