St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Basket Campaign

Pope Francis tells us, “The measure of the greatness of a society is found in the way it treats those most in need, those who have nothing apart from their poverty!” -Pope Francis, Text from 7/25/2013 in Rio, Brazil.  The OLA community participated in several charitable fundraisers since the start of the school year.  Your generosity helped support the Terry Fox Cancer Fund, St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive, the St. Vincent de Paul Coat Drive,  Poppy Campaign, and ShareLife.  Thank you to all families who contributed to these worthy causes and for demonstrating compassion towards those in need.

With the arrival of December comes the annual St. Vincent de Paul Christmas basket campaign.

Our Luke 4:18 sent home information this week and the campaign will run through to Wednesday, December 13th, 2017

Each student has received a letter informing parents of what his/her class will be collecting.  Please have your child bring items into their classroom where they will be collected throughout the campaign.

If your family would like to assist with the final sorting of goods, please call the phone number provided on your child’s letter to make arrangements directly with the St. Vincent de Paul team at the church.

The OLA community has always shown incredible generosity through their donations to our Christmas baskets.  Thank you in advance for your continued support this year.
